Enbrel  is a prescription medicine used to treat and reduce the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, polyarticular-course juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and psoriatic arthritis. It has been approved for the treatment of five chronic inflammatory diseases.

Who should not take Enbrel?

People who have an infection or are allergic to ENBREL or its components.

What should I tell my health care provider?

Tell your health care provider if you:

  • Tell your doctor if you are prone to infection
  • Have had serious nervous system disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, seizures, or inflammation of the nerves of the eyes.

What are some possible side effects of Enbrel?

  • Serious Infections
    • Some serious infections were fatal
    • Rare cases of tuberculosis
