What is Paxil used for?

Paxil to treart the following conditions:

Special Warnings with Paxil:

Don't stop taking Paxil before talking to your doctor since symptoms may result from stopping the medication or from your original condition. Some patients experience the following symptoms on stopping Paxil (mainly when abrupt): dizziness, sensory disturbances (including electric shock sensations), abnormal dreams, agitation, anxiety, nausea and sweating.

Any drug which affects the central nervous system can cause drowsiness.. This drug has rarely been associated with this effect but caution is warranted while driving or operating machinery. Also avoid drinking alcohol.
